The Original Story
Welcome to the relaunch of the original "The Making of a Eunuch" website.
This story comprised the first website to be published by a patient about Testicular Cancer in 1996.
Indeed, the original can be seen by trawling the web archives. This, mildly modified, version covers the first 8 years of my life as a "Eunuch", following the removal of my testicles in January of 1988. A lot happened after that, as you will learn, however, it is what has happened since I first wrote this account thirteen years ago that needs to be written now. The time appears right
I took this story off the Internet in 2003, because I felt it more important to focus my attention on Testosterone Deficiency, the unavoidable bi-product of losing ones testicles. The Testosterone Deficiency centre website was written and launched in 2003 and I have been working on helping others understand the problem ever since.
Life has been very eventful since 1996, culminating in a surprise appearance at the recent LiveSTRONG Global Cancer Summit in Dublin, held in August 2009.
The intervening years are in the process of being written, in order to complete the story and publish a book. I can promise more adventure, a little danger and a trawl through an extraordinary life, as I have experienced it.
